Sub: Revision of pension and other retirement benefits – VI CPC.

 

Kind attention to all the Railway pensioners/Family Pensioners

Consequent o­n the implementation of VI CPC, Govt of India notification gazettee has published that the Pension disbursing authorities (Bank, Post offices and Treasuries) are authorised to pay the revised pension as per pension reckoner table as well as 40% pension arrears.

Hence all the pensioners/family pensioners are hereby informed to receive their revised monthly pension from their respective paying branches (Bank, Post offices and Treasuries) along with 40% of arrears of pension.

Pensioners/family pensioners who have changed their residence/pension paying branch/(Bank) are requested to communicate their present residential address/pension paying branch address (Bank) with current SB A/C No

The pensioners/family pensioners who have completed 80 years of age and above have to submit their age proof in cases where their date of birth is not available in the PPO issued.

Revision of pension, if eligible, for higher pension than the reckoner table will be communicated to the pensioner / family pensioer thereafter.

Pre 2006 pensioners/family pensioners

Revised PPO will be authorised to the pension disbursing authorities with a copy to the pensioner/family pensioner wherever the revised pension shown in the reckoner is less.

Post 2006 pensionerson/family pensioners

Based o­n the refixation of pay of the VI CPC, Revised PPO and letter of authority for payment of retirment benefits will be authorised to the pension disbursing authorities alongwith a copy to the pensioner/family pensioner.
