SPECIAL TRAINS

The following special fare special trains will be run to clear extra rush of passengers.

Special fare special trains between Tambaram – Nagercoil

Train No.06063 Tambaram – Nagercoil special fare special train will leave Tambaram at 11.30 hrs. o­n 24th, 31st December, 2018 & 14thJanuary, 2019 and reach Nagercoil at 00.30 hrs. the next day.

Train No.06064 Nagercoil – Tambaram special fare special train will leave Nagercoil at 17.05 hrs. o­n 23rd December, 2018 & 13th January, 2019 and Tambaram at 05.00 hrs. the next day.

Composition:  AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 3, Sleeper Class – 13, General Second Class – 3 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.

Stoppages:  Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli and valliyur.

Special fare special trains between Chengalpattu – Tirunelveli

Train No. 06061 Chengalpattu–Tirunelveli Special fare special train will leave Chengalpattu at 19.45 hrs. o­n 28th December, 2018 & 04thJanuary, 2019 and reach Tirunelveli at 10.30 hrs. the next day.

Train No. 06062 Tirunelveli-Chengalpattu Special fare special train will leave Tirunelveli at 21.00hrs. o­n 20th, 27th December, 2018 & 03rd, 10thJanuary, 2019 and reach Chengalpattu at 10.45 hrs. the same day.

 

Composition:  AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 3, Sleeper Class – 9 and General Second Class – 6. 

Stoppages: Melmarvathur, Villupuram, Vridhachalam, Triruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Tiruttangal, Sivakasi, Srivilliputtur, Rajapalayam, Sankarankovil, Pambakovil Shandy, Kadayanllur, Tenkasi, Pavuchatram, Kilakadaiyam,Ambasamudram and Cheranmahadevi.

 

Special fare special trains between Mettupalayam – Coonoor

Train No. 06171 Mettupalayam-Coonoor Special fare special train will leave Mettupalayam at 09.10 hrs o­n 08th, 15th, 22nd, 29th December, 2018 & 05th, 12th, 19th, 26th January, 2019 and reach Mettupalayam at 12.30 hrs. the same day. 

Train No. 06172 Coonoor-Mettupalayam Special fare special train will leave Coonoor at 13.30 hrs o­n 09th, 16th, 23rd, 30th December, 2018 & 06th 13th, 20th, 27th January, 2019 and reach Mettupalayam at 16.20 hrs the same day.

Composition:  First Class – 2, Second Class Sitting – 1.

Stoppages : Kallar and Hillgrove.

Advance reservations for above Special fare special trains will open at 08.00 hrs o­n 06.12.18.
