SABARI SPECIAL TRAINS

The following Sabari special trains will be run to clear extra rush of passengers: -

KOLLAM – HYDERABAD SPECIAL FARE SPECIALTRAIN

With a composition of o­ne AC 2 tier coach, o­ne AC 3 tier coach, Ten Sleeper class Coaches, o­ne AC Chair Car, and Three General Second Class Coaches, Train No.07110 Kollam – Hyderabad Special  fare special train will leave Kollam at 03.00 hrs o­n 08th December, 2018 via Kayankulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanaserry, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Ottapalam, Palghat, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Katpadi, Tiruttani, Renigunta, Srikalahasthi, Venkatagiri, Gudur, Nellore, Kavali, o­ngole, Chirala, Bapatla, Nidubrolu, Tenali, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Dornekal, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Kazipet, Janagoan, Cheralapali, and Secunderabad to reach Hyderabad at 10.30 hrs the next day.

KOLLAM – TIRUPATI SPECIAL FARE SPECIALTRAIN

With a composition of o­ne AC 2 tier coach, o­ne AC 3 tier coach, Ten Sleeper class Coaches, o­ne AC Chair Car, and Three General Second Class Coaches, Train No.07506 Kollam – Tirupati Special  fare special train will leave Kollam at 06.45 hrs o­n 09th December, 2018 via Kayankulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanaserry, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Ottapalam, Palghat, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Katpadi and Chittore to reach Tirupati at 23.55 hrs the same day.

Advance Reservation for trains listed below will open at 08.00 hrs tomorrow i.e. 24th November 2018

SABARIMALA SPECIALS ALREADY NOTIFIED

To handle the extra rush of passengers during Sabarimala Season, 260 special trains have been announced to be run from 16th November, 2018 to 26th December, 2018.  Southern Railway has notified 244 special trains in Chennai – Kollam sector covering major destinations such as Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Tiruchchirappalli, Madurai, Sengottai and Punalur enroute.  South Central Railway has notified 18 special trains while East Coast Railway has notified 26 special trains so far. 

For the benefit of Sabarimala Pilgrims, two pairs of Mail/Express trains viz.,  Train No.12697/12698 Chennai – Trivandrum - Chennai Weekly Express trains and Train No.22653 Trivandrum – Nizamuddin Weekly Express trains have been provided temporary stoppage at Chengannur from 24th November, 2018 to 21st January, 2019.
