EXTENSION AND TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF PUDUCHERRY EXPRESS

Train No.16115/16116 Chennai Egmore-Puducherry-Chennai Egmore Express is extended to run upto Chennai Beach for 5 days a week, viz., Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.  This extension of the service will be effective from from 26th September, 2018.

Train No.16116 Puducherry – Chennai Express will leave Puducherry at 05.35 hrs, arrive Chennai Egmore at 09.30 hrs, leave Chennai Egmore at 09.35 hrs and arrive Chennai Beach at 10.00 hrs.

Train No.16115 Chennai – Puducherry Express will leave Chennai Beach at 17.35, arrive Chennai Egmore at 17.50 hrs, and leave Chennai Egmore at 18.10 hrs to reach Puducherry at 22.25 hrs  

The extension of the service upto Chennai Beach will be in force till the resumption of services in fast line between Chennai Beach and Tambaram.
