FLOODS IN KERALA- CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAINS

Due to heavy rains, land slips, flash floods and closure of section between Shoranur – Kozhikkode in Palghat Division and Erankulam – Kottayam – Kayankulam section in Trivandrum Division, the following changes are made in the pattern of service :

RUNNING OF EXPRESS SPECIALS

There will be a Express Special from Mangaluru to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 05.00 hrs of 18th August from Mangaluru and it will run to the timings and path of Train No.16345 Netravati Express

There will be another Express Special from Trivandrum to Howrah via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Chennai Egmore, Gudur to Howrah. This special will leave Trivandrum at 17.00 hrs o­n 18th August.

CORRECTION

Train No.17229 Trivandrum – Hyderabad Sabari Express of 17th August earlier announced as fully cancelled will now run from Salem to Hyderabad.

TRAINS DIVERTED 

1.Train No. 12625 Trivandrum – New Delhi Kerala Express of 18th August will be diverted to run via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Dindigul and Erode.

2.Train No. 16316 Kochuveli – KSR Bengaluru Express of 18th August will be diverted to run via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Dindigul and Erode.

3.Train No. 17229 Trivandrum – Hyderabad Sabari Express of 18th August will be diverted to run via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Dindigul and Erode.

4.Train No. 16382 Kanniyakumari – Mumbai CST Express of 18th August will be diverted to run via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Dindigul and Erode.

5.Train No. 22646 Trivandrum – Indore Ahilya Nagari Express of 18th August will be diverted to run via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Dindigul and Erode.

6.Train No. 17230 Hyderabad - Trivandrum Sabari Express of 18th August will be diverted to run via Erode, Dindigul, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Nagercoil.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION 

1.Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express of 18th August is partially cancelled between Ernakulam and Guruvayur.

2.Train No. 12677 KSR Bengaluru – Ernakulam Intercity Express of 18th August is partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Ernakulam.

3.Train No.12678 Ernakulam – KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express of 18th August is partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Ernakulam

4.Train No.13352 Alleppey – Dhanbhad Express of 18th August is partially cancelled between Alleppey and Chennai and will run from Chennai to Dhanbad

5.Train No.12431 Trivandrum – Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express of 17th August is partially cancelled between Trivandrum and Mangaluru and will run from Mangaluru Junction to Nizamuddin

6.Train No.12217 Kochuveli – Chandigarh Sampark Kranti Express of 18th August is partially cancelled between Kochuveli and Mangaluru. And will run from Mangaluru to Chandigarh.

7.Train No.16346 Trivandrum – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express of 18th August is partially cancelled between Trivandrum and Mangaluru and will run run from Mangaluru to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.

8.Train No.16359 Ernakulam – Patna Express of 18th August is partially cancelled between Ernakulam and Coimbatore and will run from Coimbatore to Patna.

9.Train No.12602 Mangaluru – Chennai Mail of 18th August is partially cancelled between Mangaluru and Podanur and will run from Podanur to Chennai.
